Tour Description:

In the "Colours of India" trip you will be able to see, feel, enjoy and experience every colour of India spread across this vast land.  

Detailed Itinerary:    

Day 01: New Delhi

Arrival at the International airport. You will be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 02: New Delhi

Move out for sight seeing tour of Old and New Delhi which includes visit to Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s tomb, Kutub Minar, Raj Ghat, India Gate, President’s House. Evening to shop around the illuminated streets of Connaught Place .

Day 03:  Jaipur

Drive straight to Jaipur and o arrival check-in your hotel.     Evening to enjoy at Chowki Dhanii, an opportunity to taste the spicy Rajahstani food.

Day 04:  Jaipur

Full day sightseeing and visit the Huge Amber Fort on the elephant's back, the City Palace and Janta Mantar.

Day 05:  Jaipur – Agra

Drive straight to Ag ra and en-route visit Fathepur Sikri.  Check in your hotel in Agra . Visit Agra Fort and Taj Mahal during the sunset.

Day 06: Agra-Orchha-Khajuraho

You will be transferred to the railway station to board the train for Jhansi . On arrival at Jhansi you will be received and transferred to Khajuraho en-route visit Orchha . The day free to relax.

Day 07: Khajuraho

Move out for the sight seeing of wonderful temples of Khajuraho. The erotic temples of Khajuraho show the other aspect of Indian Spirituality. Visit the western, eastern and southern group of temples.

Day 08: Bandhavgarh National Park

Morning at leisure. Drive straight to Bandhavgarh National Park and on arrival check-in your hotel. Set amidst the Vindhyan ranges, the Park has a series of ridges running through it.

Day 09: Bandhavgarh National Park

We shall set out for the adventurous trial on the Jeep Safari and spot the tigers in the national park. After lunch move out once again on the elephant’s back deep inside the national park.

Day 10: Bandhavgarh National Park

Early in the morning we again visit the national park to see the tiger on the elephant’s back. We also proceed to see Bandhavgarh Fort of this wildlife retreat, where history and nature meet. Over the Bandhavgarh hills, dominating the park stands Bandhavgarh Fort on the highest point, thought to be some 2000 years old. We will also see the numerous prehistoric caves rich with shrines and ancient Sanskrit inscriptions, which are scattered through out park and particularly around the fort.

Day 11: Bandhavgarh-Varanasi

Morning at leisure. Thereafter you will be transferred to the railway station to board the train for  Varanasi -the oldest living cities in the world, where one can witness and experience Hindu religion in its most authentic way. On arrival check-in your hotel.

Day 12:Varanasi

Morning at leisure. Move out for an excursion to Sarnath- the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon. Today it presents the most expansive ruins amongst the places containing Buddhist relics.

Day 13: Varanasi

Move out for a morning guided spiritual tour along the banks of the river Ganges and also take a boat ride over this sacred river. Here you will witness the Sadhus taking dip in the Ganges with their daily practices of Surya Namaskar (Preying of Lord Sun while taking dip in the Ganges ) and different rituals of Hindu religion performed on the banks of Ganges . After breakfast move out for the city sight seeing tour which includes Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Durga Temple, and Tulsi Manas Temple.

Day 14: Train journey

In the morning you will be transferred to the railway station to board the train for Jaipalguri.

Day 15: New Jaipalguri-Darjeeling

Early in the morning you will be received and then board the toy train to Darjeeling .  On arrival at Darjeeling check-in your hotel.  Evening at leisure.

Day 16: Darjeeling

Full day local sightseeing covering Padmaja N. Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetian Refugee Self-help Center and visit to the Mall and Local Market (City Life).

Day 17: Darjeeling

Early morning at 3.30 am start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest), Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the Hotel. Breakfast at the Hotel.  The rest of the day at leasure to enjoy the wonderful hill station of India .    

Day 18: Gangtok

Drive straight to Gangtok and on arrival check-in your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 19: Gangtok

Move out for the full day sight seeing of Gangtok.

Day 20: Kolkata

Drive straight to Bagdogra to board the flight for Kolkata you will be received and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 21: Kolkata

Move out for the full day sight seeing of Calcutta seeing the Victoria Memorial, Kali temple, Howrah Bridge etc.

Day 22: Kolkata-Bhubaneswar

Board the overnight train to Bhubaneswar . Over night train journey.

Day 23: Bhubaneshwar

On arrival you will be received and transferred to the Hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure. Evening visit to the temples of Bhubaneshwar temples including Lingraj Mandir, Vaital Mandir etc.

Day 24: Puri

Drive straight to Puri and on arrival check-in your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 25: Puri

Move out for the sight seeing tour of Jagannath Mandir and other temples.

Day 26: Mumbai

Drive back to Bhubaneshwar and transfer to the airport to board the flight for Mumbai.

Day 27: Mumbai

Move out for the Sightseeing tour of Mumbai including Elephanta Island cave temples  (World Heritage Site), Gateway of India arch, the Kala Ghoda area including the Victoria Terminus Railway Station, the Prince of Wales Museum and the High Court  and if time, the Hanging Gardens and Malabar Hills and Marine Drive. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 28: Departure

Morning at leisure. At appropriate time you will be transferred to the airport for onward journey. (The Tour Ends).
