Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive Chennai

When you arrive at the international airport of Chennai, you will be cordially received by us. The representative of South India Tour Travel will help you to transfer to the Hotel of your choice. You get to relax in the cozy comforts of the hotel night.

Day 2: Chennai - Mahabalipuram

Chennai - Mahabalipuram - Have your breakfast and come with us to the sightseeing tour of Chennai in the morning. Have a walk in the golden sands of marina beach some of the places you will visit is Adyar Banyan Tree ,Light House and Anna Memorial .Then come back, have sumptuous lunch at hotel and in the afternoon we are off to Fort ST. Geroge where there is Saint Mary's Church and fort museum. Then we head for Mahabalipuram.

Day 3: Mahabalipuram

We are now at Seven Pagodas city of Mahabalipuram. On third day we have a trip organized for you in the day to Kanchipuram and Kahabalipuram.We visit the famous Temples of Kanchipuram, Enjoy shopping here for Kanchipuram Silk. We also visit Kahabalipuram

Day 4: Mahabalipuram- Pondicherry - Tanjore

Pondicherry - Tanjore - Have breakfast and then we leave for Tanjore. We stop to visit Pondicherry en route. Here we visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram and get to see the evolving city of Auroville. You have to contact South India Tour Travel for booking details for this tour package.

Day 5: Tanjore-Trichy

The fifth day is spent in morning tour of the city of Tanjore, experience the rich art of Tamil Nadu in the beautiful paintings and metal works here. Visit Brahadeshwarar Temple which dates back to 10 th –14 th century.Then we drive to Trichy and after having lunch in the afternoon we Srirangam , the premier Vaishnava temple in South India which is the first and most noteworthy among the 108 Vaishnava divyadesas. Then get to see the 83m high Rock Fort Temple in the center of the city of Trichy.

Day 6: Trichy - Madurai

Trichy - Madurai - we drive in the morning to Madurai from Trichy located 142km. We relax at the hotel and in the evening we view the magnificent gopurams of Meenakshi temple we also witness the temple ceremony of pattabishekam' (coronation) cGoddess Meenakshi and alos wedding ceremony of Goddess Meenakshi with Lord Sundareswarar

Day 7: Madurai

In the morning after breakfast we embark on sight seeing tour of Madurai and view its places like Tirumalai Nayak Mahal, Thirupparankundram Temple, Alagar Koli, Gandhi museum. Spend the afternoon in the cozy confines of the hotel.

Day 8: Madurai-Chennai

Transfer to the airport for flight to Chennai.
