Detailed Itinerary:    

Day 01:

Arrival to international airport in San Jose. Transfer to Hotel. Hotel Best Western Irazú or similar

Day 02: San Jose / Tortuguero

Early departure to Tortuguero National Park. Breakfast on route. Along the way, you would be able to contemplate Carrillo National Park as well as the impressive Rio Sucio. We continue our journey with a boat ride through the big canals in Tortuguero National Park known as the Amazon of Costa Rica. Arrival to the hotel, where you will be greeted and enjoy a delicious lunch. Afternoon tour to Tortuguero Village where you will visit the turtle Museum, experience the locals´ way of life and maybe buy some souvenirs from Tortuguero. Return to the hotel. Hotel Laguna Lodge or similar (B,L,D)

Day 03: Tortuguero National Park

Boat ride through the small canals to observe the wildlife that inhabits this protected area such as monkeys, hundreds of birds, caimans as well as the magnificent vegetation that surrounds the park. Free afternoon, to enjoy of optional activities: canopy, hiking to Tortuguero jungle, turtle nesting (only during the season). (B,L,D)

Day 04: Tortuguero National Park / Arenal Volcano

Breakfast. Departure to La Fortuna, a village located on Arenal Volcano slopes. Lunch on route. At night and from your hotel you will be able to appreciate, if the weather allows, the incredible eruptions of lava streams and incandescent rock explosions - unforgettable natural fireworks displays. Hotel Arenal Springs or similar (B,L)

Day 05: Arenal Volcano

Breakfast. Day at leisure to explore the area. Many optional activities on this are we would recommend the tour to visit to Peñas Blancas, paddle through the river there will be plenty of chances to observe monkeys, iguanas, slots and hundreds of birds, also the tour to La Fortuna Waterfalls and the Canopy tour. Or you can just relax and enjoy the hotel facilities while you admire the beauty of the landscapes. (B)

Day 06: Arenal / Monteverde

Breakfast, departure from the hotel to take a boat ride across the Arenal Lake to arrive to Rio Chiquito. Land transfer to Monteverde. Arrival to the hotel, free afternoon for a optional tours. The Butterfly Garden and the Serpentarium are highly recommended. Hotel El Establo or similar (B)

Day 07: Monteverde

Breakfast. Day of leisure and enjoy of the optional activities. We can suggest the Hanging Bridges tour where you will be able to admire the beauty of the rainforest from the top of the trees or a visit to Santa Elena Biological Reserve. For more adventure the Canopy tour could be great option, where you will slide through cables from the top of one tree to the other. At the end of these activities, back to the hotel and enjoy of the hotel services or relax. (B)

Day 08: Monteverde / Guanacaste Beach.

Breakfast. Transfer to the beach resort in the pacific coast, enjoy in All Inclusive hotel Hotel Monarch similar (B,L,D)

Day 09: Guanacaste Beach

Enjoy the facilities offered for the resort: kayaks, massages, swimming pool, or just relax in one of the most beautiful beaches of the pacific of Costa Rica. (B,L,D)

Day 10: Guanacaste Beach

Day at leisure to enjoy of the optional tour son this area; Canopy, surfing, horseback riding, fishing, snorkeling and others (B,L,D)

Day 11: Guanacaste Beach / San Jose

Free morning, after lunch, transfer in shuttle back to San José. Hotel Best Western Irazú or similar (B, L)

Day 12:

Breakfast, According to schedule transfer hotel - Airport.
