Detailed Itinerary:    

Day 01:

Reception at the airport. Upon arrival at the airport a host will meet and assist you in transferring to the hotel and in registering.

Day 02:

Continental Breakfast at your hotel. Today you embark on a full day journey beginning the exploration of this mysterious island in earnest. Visit the Tahai Complex, Rano Kau Volcano and the nearby ceremonial center of Orongo.

Day 03:

Continental Breakfast at your hotel. Visit the burial temples of Vaihu and Akahanga, the last of which is believed to house the remains of Hotu Matua, the first king on the island; the temples of Tongariki, Te Pito Ura, Nau Nau, Rano Raraku Quarry where the magnificent "Moai" were carved prior to being transported to the various temples and ceremonial sites scattered throughout the island and the Anakena beach.

Day 04:

Continental Breakfast at your hotel. Visit Ahu Vinapu, the site of Ahu Akivi also called the Seven Moais which according to legend represent the first emissaries to the island sent by King Hotu Matua. Continue to the Puna Pau Quarry where the red stoned hats were fashioned, Tepahu cave.

Day 05:

Continental Breakfast at your hotel. Visit handicraft market, archaeological Museum, Catolic Church, Ana Kai Tangata cave paintings and returning to the hotel.

Day 06:

Day at leisure for optional excursions.

Day 07:

Continental Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer from hotel to the airport for departure.
