Detailed Itinerary:
Day 01: Paris
Welcome to Gaie Paris, the most fashionable capital of Europe. Upon arrival, meet your private car and transfer to the hotel. Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring this amazing city. Overnight at the hotel
Day 02: Paris
After breakfast, begin your tour will take you around all the main monuments of Paris. First discover the Louvre Museum, then pass by the Island of the City and see the famous Cathedral of Notre Dame. We continue to the prestigious Sorbonne University and the Pantheon. St. Germains des Pres and the Orsay Museum will also be part of the itinerary. Of course this tour would not be complete without a ride down the Champs Elysees and up to the Arc de Triumph. The Eiffel Tower will be the next famous sight and the last part of this small journey will include the Invalids, Place de la Concorde, the Madeleine and the Opera. This tour also includes a Paris Sightseeing Cruise on the river Seine. In the evening why not venture out to the Latin Quarter, which is renowned for it’s lively atmosphere and French “bistros.” Overnight at the hotel
Day 03: Paris – Barcelona
After breakfast, your car will pick you up and take you to the station to catch your train to Barcelona. Upon arrival in Barcelona, meet your car and transfer to the hotel. Check in and spend rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel
Day 04: Barcelona
After breakfast, begin your tour is operated by double-decker open-top buses offering the most convenient way to discover the most interesting museums and attractive sights this exciting city has to offer. You can get on and off as many times as you wish at any of the 44 stops, combining the three routes within the same ticket. A brief explanation at the stops will be given by a guide who is travelling on board. Overnight at the hotel
Day 05: Barcelona – Nice
After breakfast, your car will collect you from the hotel and take you to the station where you will get a train to Nice. Upon arrival in Nice, meet your car and transfer to the hotel. Check in and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight at the hotel
Day 06: Nice
After breakfast, begin your Discover the charming city of Nice and enjoy its fantastic and unique views from our open top deck buses. Your pass is valid for 1 day and allows you to hop on and off as often as you please, at any of our 11 stops. Listen to the original commentary with personal earphones, in a choice of languages. Overnight at the hotel
Day 07: Nice – Florence
After breakfast, your car will take you to the station where you will catch your train to Florence. Arrive in Florence late evening and transfer to the hotel. Check in and overnight at hotel
Day 08: Florence – Rome
After breakfast, join a Florence Morning tour with light lunch Drive along the romantic Viale dei Colli up to Piazzale Michelangelo: a stop to admire the wonderful panorama of the city, one of the most beautiful in the world. The tour will proceed by coach through the old city centre. Then walking guided visit of the outdoor Duomo complex: the Baptistery with its bronze doors including the famous Porta del Paradiso and the visit of the Cathedral with the magnificent Cupola del Brunelleschi and Giotto's bell tower. A short walk through the historic streets of the heart of Florence brings you to the renowned Galleria dell'Accademia where you can admire the famous David by Michelangelo and other works by the great artist. At the end of the tour, you will enjoy a light lunch (drinks included) in a typical restaurant in the centre, just brief walk away, accompanied by our assistant. Your car will pick you up late evening and take you to the station to catch your train to Rome. Upon arrival in Rome, meet your car and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel
Day 09: Rome
After breakfast, begin your tour. Crossing the Quirinal Square, with the Presidential Palace, we arrive at Piazza Venezia at the heart of the city with its Monument to Victor Emanuel II, also called 'Vittoriano'. We walk up to Capitol Square, designed by Michelangelo, and proceed to the Imperial Forum Avenue to enjoy a magnificent view over the Imperial Forum. Afterwards we stop in front of the Colosseum from which point you can see the Arches of Constantine and Tito and the Temple of Venus and Rome. Passing the Pyramid Cestia, we arrive at St. Paul's Outside the Walls which we visit to see the site where the Apostle of the People was buried. Overnight at the hotel
Day 10: Rome – Venice
After breakfast, meet your car at the hotel and transfer to the station to take your train to Venice. Arrive in Venice late afternoon and spend the afternoon at leisure exploring the most romantic city in Europe. Overnight at the hotel
Day 11: Venice
After breakfast, the day free to explore yours own this magnificent “floating city” with its beautiful buildings and narrow cobbled streets. Make the most of your time in Venice by visiting St Marks Square, which is located in the heart of the city. From here you can explore many of the city’s main attractions including St. Marks Basilica, Doge’s Palace, Torre dell’Orologio (Clock Tower), and Piazetta San Marco, to name a few. The perfect way to end the day is with a classic gondola ride along the Grand Canal. Overnight at the hotel
Day 12: Venice – Lucerne
After breakfast, make your own way to the station and take your train to Lucerne. Early afternoon arrival in Lucerne. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Overnight at hotel
Day 13: Lucerne - Mount Titlis – Lucerne
After breakfast, embark upon a full day excursion to Mt Titlis. From Lucerne take the train to Engelberg, where you will board the Titlis Rotair cable car, which takes you up to the top. From here, you will be able to see stunning views of Alps. Up at the top there is plenty to do, you could go to one of the restaurants for lunch or visit the glacier cave and ride the Ice Flyer chairlift.
(*From May – September, you also have the option of wandering along the mountain flower trail. The flower trail, Gerschnialp is a beautiful trail for 2km leading to the Untertruebsee - this is included in the cable car ticket)
Early evening return back to Lucerne. If you’re looking for something to do in the evening, why not take a boat trip on the beautiful Lake of Lucerne. Overnight at the hotel
Day 14: Lucerne
After breakfast, spend the day exploring this lovely medieval town with its many attractions such as the Lion Monument, Chapel Bridge, the Town Hall and the Jesuite Church. Overnight at hotel
Day 15: Departure
After breakfast, proceed to the train station for your onward flight.
