Detailed Itinerary:    

Day 01: Arrival Nairobi

Welcome to Nairobi, a thriving young city spawned during the construction of the rail line to the Indian Ocean. Stay at the Stanley Hotel, for a quiet respite in the center of the city. This evening, enjoy an informative presentation about East Africa's National parks, reserves and wildlife given by the Representative. Evening transfer to Kadhi King Restaurant for dinner. Overnight at the Stanley Hotel or similar.

Day 02: Lake Nakuru National Park

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the Dramatic Rift Valley, making a brief stop at the Rift Valley View point and proceed to the Pink Lake Nakuru for lunch at lodge. Afternoon game drive inside the beautiful Park to view thousands of pink flamingos and numerous wild game including the Rhinos. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru lodge.

Day 03: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Breakfast at lodge and depart with en-route game viewing as you leave the Park, cross the loita plains as you head for Kenya's most scenic Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch at lodge. An afternoon game drive inside the Park. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena lodge or similar.

Day 04: Masai Mara

Breakfast at lodge and leave with picnic lunches for a full day of game viewing inside the Park. Extend your drive to the hippo point. Between meals there is optional visit to the Masai villages for an insight to their culture if clients so wish. Meals and overnight at Mara Serena lodge.

Day 05: Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, continue by road via the Kenyan Tanzanian border Isebania for lunch at Speke Bay Lodge. Afternoon spent at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Speke Bay lodge.

Day 06: Speke Bay to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park. Lunch at Serengeti Serena Lodge. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena lodge.

Day 07: Serengeti National Park

Morning and afternoon game drives. The Masai translation of Serengeti is "endless plains." This expansive park, which covers over 23,000 square miles, is home to thousands of animals that form the annual migration. Early morning and afternoon game drives allow you to explore the areas where thousands of animals gather in the Serengeti during migration (movement varies month to month but the herds are usually in the southern Serengeti Dec-May), to bear their young and continue the pursuit of food and water. Behind the masses of migrating animals, follows the ever-searching predators watch as this life and death drama unfolds before you. Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 08: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Depart after breakfast and drive across the Serengeti plains viewing game en route and arrive at Olduvai Gorge, the famous archaeological site where the Leakeys uncovered 1.75 million year old humanoid fossils of Australopithecus, Homo Habilis, and Homo Erectus. The Gorge is about 50km long and in some places 90m deep. You will have time to walk through the little museum. Continue to your lodge, set high on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. After lunch at the lodge, depart on a gentle nature walk with a lodge naturalist. Ngorongoro Serena Lodge (BLD).As if in a land before time, Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is built into the rim of a dormant and collapsed volcano (known as a caldera), the plant and ivy-covered native stone blending masterfully with its surroundings. Close by lies the Olduvai Gorge, the "birthplace of man". Today the volcano and surrounding landscape are part of a vast conservation area inhabited by the Masai tribe, as well as an extraordinary variety of big game and bird life. Most guest rooms have private terraces with views of the crater floor where countless animals make their home. At Ngorongoro Serena Lodge visitors co-exist in perfect harmony with the natural environment and the wildlife that inhabits it.

Day 09: Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast you descend into the Crater in a 4x4 vehicle for a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch enjoyed on the Crater floor. Late afternoon you leave the Crater and drive back to the lodge perched on the rim. Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast continue by road to Lake Manyara National Park. After lunch a game drive is planned in Lake Manyara National Park. Overnight at the spectacularly located Lake Manyara Serena .Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.

Day 11: Lake Manyara to Nairobi

Depart after breakfast to Arusha for lunch. Drive via Namanga border to clear customs and immigration with onward drive to Jomo Kenyatta airport for your international departure flight.
